Scope of the Position



The Regional Technical Manager is responsible for leading and managing technical services and projects within the Region.  This person will ensure these services and projects are consistently and efficiently executed.  Primary responsibilities include the collaborative execution of sales strategies, leadership in customer value creation, sales support, and resource management.




  • Managing Regional activities of Technical Service Representatives of Technical Sales Representative to ensure alignment with company and Regional goals.

  • Work with Regional Sales Director to ensure alignment of technical services and projects with the Regional sales objectives.

  • Provide support and coordinate activities to assist resources not directly reporting to the region.  These resources include System and Integrations Sales Managers, Corporate Engineers, Strategic Accounts, Business Development and others.  

  • Assess skill requirements for Regional technical personnel and assist them with the skills growth and support.  Make coaching and career development a priority.

  • Actively seek value selling opportunities and promote value selling benefits of technical services and projects in the Region.  Ensure service activities create value and are captured and communicated to the customer.

  • Establish succession planning process for all technical positions in the Region.  Identify potential candidates both within and outside the company.  Ensure any and all transition processes are managed effectively.  




Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • 5-8 years of professional experience

  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% (Training, customer visits, and supporting / coaching employees)

  • Possess a valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.


Additional Qualifications:

  • Must be well organized, and an excellent communicator.  Should have strong interpersonal, presentation, and planning skills.

  • Must possess experience supporting technical projects and service / support to a Regional Team.

  • Must be able to meet objectives and timelines tied to responsibilities

  • Must have the ability to work with multi-functional groups, including both direct and indirect resources, to achieve Regional sales objectives

  • Must be an excellent team builder, coach, and leader and will be a significant contributor to the Regional Management Team.

  • Must be highly motivated, goal-oriented and have a proven track record of success

  • Must be creative and focused with strong analytic and problem-solving skills.  Must be able to connect with customers and Regional team and give direction on technical projects and service needs

  • Experience in the food industry is preferred, but not required

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
