Job Description:
We are seeking a creative, compassionate, and energetic Preschool Teacher to join our dynamic team.
As a School Age Program Teacher at Yellow Brick Road, you will play a key role in shaping the minds and spirits of our youngest learners.
This position involves designing and implementing a curriculum that engages and stimulates children aged 5-12 years, while also providing a safe and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, and evaluate daily lessons based on our curriculum, focusing on cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Create a vibrant, interactive classroom environment conducive to learning and suitable for the physical, social, and emotional development of preschoolers.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to support the children's growth and learning.
Assess children's performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills on regular basis.
Manage classroom resources and maintain a clean and organized learning environment.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate school events.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest educational methods and research.
Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification or credential in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
Experience working with children in a preschool setting.
Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Creativity and flexibility to adapt to changing situations and needs.
CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
