Service Manager - Immigrant Refugee Community Services

LSI is pleased to offer qualified candidates a signing bonus for this position LSI is seeking an experienced leader in refugee resettlement and immigrant integration programs to lead its local office in Sioux City, Iowa.
The office serves as a hub for services that support and empower newcomers in Northwest Iowa and neighboring Nebraska and South Dakota.
The role will serve as the designated regional point of contact for LSI's affiliate relationship with Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services as a local resettlement office.
Within the region LSI offers services that include refugee resettlement, employment services, home-based childcare, and other small business development programs, education programs, and services for unaccompanied minors and their sponsors.

Our Immigrant and Refugee Community Services lift up hundreds of new Iowans each year!What You'll Do The Service Manager will lead, plan, direct and oversee the administration of all services and programming that facilitate personal growth, independence, and self sufficiency for participants in LSI's Immigrant and Refugee Community Services within the local service area.
Program areas include refugee resettlement, specialized case management for various vulnerable immigrant populations, education, workforce, and economic empowerment programs.
Provides oversight of programing to ensure timely delivery of services, proper reporting, and ensure that the needs of the most vulnerable clients are addressed.
Responsible to train and supervise service coordinators, supervisors, operate within budget, and ensure compliance with state, federal and accreditation agencies.
The Manager builds a team of professional, dedicated and culturally-sensitive service providers, develops and cultivates resources to support and expand program services, represents LSI in communications, proposal development and negotiations, media presentations, and program advocacy efforts.
The Manager serves as a liaison with partnering organizations, ethnic communities and other community organizations.
Service provision oversight and support may occur during normal business hours, after hours, or on weekends.
What You'll Need Bachelors degree in Social Work or related human services filed and a minimum of 7 years of full time experience in human services, immigrant or refugee service and/or mental health services.
Two years of supervisory experience required.
OR Masters degree in Social Work or related human services field, plus 5 years of related human services experience.
Two years of supervisory experience required.
Qualifying related experience may include human services, immigrant or refugee services and/or mental health services.
Preferred candidates will have additional language skills to meet the needs of the clients is preferred, but not required.
